AAA Prescription Savings

Did you know that belonging to AAA can save you money on prescriptions?  It can, and many other things too.  I have belonged to AAA for over 15 years and just recently discovered how many discounts come with my membership.

I was cruising around the Apple App Store and noticed that there are a few AAA apps in there.  They are all cool, but the one that helped me most was called AAA Discounts.  It's a simple little app that finds my location via GPS and tells me about all the discounts in my area.  I highly recommend it.

One of the best discounts I found was for prescriptions.  If you are a member you can go to www.AAA.com/prescriptions, type in your zip code, and download a AAA Prescription Savings card.  This card is good for 35% savings on generics and 15% on brand names at nearly every major pharmacy.  There is also additional savings by mail.

With money being tight these days, we can use all the discounts we can get.  How cool is it to know that an organization I already belong to can help me out with even more?
